Making sustainability easy, fun and rewarding.
OUR MISSION
CREATING LASTING POSITIVE IMPACT IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES
The average person finds sustainability daunting to say the least.
"I don't know where to start."
"I'm not sure if it makes any difference."
"I can't afford to do anything else."
We hear it all the time and that's how we know that people need guidance and trusted messengers to help sort out the facts from the fiction. That's why we create the programs and content we do. Simple, evidence-based, easy to understand solutions for you and your community.

COLLABORATION
We believe in building alliances and connections through sharing and supportive practices. We are a-political and believe the solutions we share are for everyone.
POSITIVITY
We always focus on a 'can do' approach and only share problems if we can also share the solutions. The issues are big, the reality is challenging but we are intentional about finding joy and fun where we can.
RESOURCEFUL
We recognise the embodied value of resources. of the places and the skills of the people we work with. We see the future as circular and believe in the power of active citizens.
INCLUSIVE
We recognise that people from diverse communities, backgrounds and abilities can face additional barriers to getting involved in community solutions, and we recognise we have an important role to play in designing for inclusion.
GENERATIVE
We recognise that our current systems are always complex and the solutions are that change is sometimes ambiguous and need work to design them to work. We commit to being curious and playful to find new ways of living more sustainably using approaches which we may not have tried before.
“Good For the Hood have worked with us on a number of council and industry projects. They are professional and knowledgeable and help bring a community voice and lens to all they work on.”
