Feeling a little overwhelmed by 2025 already? We get it, the rising costs, climate change, and just trying to keep up, it’s a lot. But we’ve got your back!

We recently hosted Thrive in 2025, an online event packed with expert advice on resilience, home energy savings, and making your money stretch further. And while the full deep-dive is reserved for our @ Home members, we’re giving you a sneak peek at some of the top takeaways.

Resilience Is a Muscle – Here’s How to Strengthen It

According to clinical psychologist Dr. Ahona Guha, resilience isn’t about “toughing it out” or having all the answers. It’s about developing skills that help you adapt. That means looking after your body, learning to manage emotions, and leaning on your community when things get rough. Because let’s be honest, none of us are meant to do this alone.

Save Money & Power Up Your Home

Energy expert Tim Forcey busted some common myths about home heating and cooling. His biggest tip? If you’ve got a reverse-cycle air conditioner, use it for heating, it’s way cheaper than gas. He also swears by sealing up draughty windows and doors to keep your place comfy year-round. Small tweaks, big savings.

Make Your Money Go Further

Molly Benjamin from Ladies Finance Club shared some seriously handy money-saving tricks. She’s all about calling up your service providers to negotiate a better deal (yep, it works!), meal planning to cut down on food waste and grocery bills, and setting up a small emergency fund so unexpected expenses don’t throw you off track.

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but small, intentional changes can add up. Whether it’s cutting down on energy bills, finding moments of calm, or making your money work harder, every step counts.

And remember, you’re not doing this alone. We’re all in it together.
